Valdemar’s Castle
The journey to the picturesque Valdemar Castle on Tåsinge is extra special by bike. The castle was built between 1639 -1644 by King Christian IV for his son Valdemar Christian. Today, the
descendants of the seafaring hero Niels Juel, who took over the castle in 1678, own the castle. During the summer months, the castle is open to the public. Here you can truly feel the historical heart of the building, beating. Café Æblehaven is open for coffee and cake in the summer.
