If you have a penchant for the maritime lifestyle, stay at StaySail.Danmark, located in the small village of Svensmarke and just 150 m from the shore of Stege Nor cove, with direct views to Stege. The six rooms are all named after various Dutch ships, and the cosy café is richly decorated with model ships, sails and other maritime accessories. The rooms are simply furnished but are cosy and all have private bathrooms. Outdoors, you can settle down in the enclosed courtyard or on one of the many terraces.
If you feel like a trip on the water, you can rent kayaks, inflatable boats, sailing dinghies and catamarans, and the hosts will provide necessary instructions.
