Knivsbjerg
Knivsbjerg (The Knife Mountain) is 97 m high. Take a detour from the route and enjoy the incredible views over the hilly terrain around Genner Bay and over to Fyn. It is a meeting place for the German minority in Sønderjylland/Northern Schleswig, who meets each year to celebrate. In earlier times, there was a monument on top of the hill of the German Kaiser Bismarck. After the Second World War, the monument was destroyed by the Danish Resistance. Today there is a memorial wall and a viewing platform.
