DCU Camping Kollund is a cosy little campsite located in a sloping area which is sheltered by a forest and vegetation. The campsite has 170 pitches, where many of them are placed with a beautiful view over Flensburg Fjord. The campsite rent out three 25 m² (L-5) cabins with shower and toilet, and two other smaller tour cabins of 12 m².
The campsite is a good starting point for excursions into the lovely nature and several historical locations in the Sønderjylland and Northern Germany. Visit Graasten with its 16th century palace and beautiful park, or take a historical trip to the Dybboel Mill and walk on the 10 entrenchments, where reminders of the wars in 1848 and 1864 is placed. The historical Centre Dybboel gives you a fascinating glimpse of the life in the entrenchments. Take a trip to Universe, a science park filled with fun activities or go to the dinosaur adventure park Tolk-schau. Take a walk/bike along the beautiful Gendarme Path. Across the border, the city Flensburg offers a lot of activities, and Schleswig with its cultural experiences as Gottorf Castle, Cathedral, Haitabu Viking museum and the Danewerk.
