Møn
The North’s first ’Dark Sky Park and Community’ is on Møn and Nyord. The minimal light pollution means that the sky is extraordinarily dark, giving you clear-sight and a magical sky full of stars. The Dark Sky is a year-round experience, but in late summer, it is most impressive. You can see the Milky Way clearly, and in mid-August, it is time to count the shooting stars. In autumn you can see the Andromeda Galaxy. You can either take a guided tour or view these phenomena close up, from the Damsholte Observatory nearby.
