From the Youth Hostel you can easily walk to the wood, the beach, Eriks Hale, with the fine bathing huts, bicycle hire, shops and convenience stores. And Marstal Maritime Museum is our next-door neighbour.
Buses on Ærø are free, and the closest stop is only a five-minute walk from Femmasteren. We also have four good bicycles which you may borrow free of charge.
We offer different types of rooms, according to size, price and requirement. There are common rooms; for two, three, four, or five persons. All rooms have bunk beds. Some rooms have sea-view. You do not need to have a hostel pass to stay with us.
You bring along your own linen for your stay, or you can rent it from Femmasteren.
The rate for an overnight stay is exclusive of the breakfast buffet, but you are welcome to use the hostel kitchen or order our breakfast buffet if you like.
